The 3rd Annual Review of the SIPs was held on 18th February at Baidyanath Dham - Deoghar, Jharkhand. Nodal officers from 25 of the 30 iconic sites and their PSU partners presented their progress and key activities being carried out at these sites including SLWM, beautification and landscaping of premises and approach areas, battery -operated sweeping machines, Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), and awareness campaign among others.

• Swachhata workshop was organised in all field formations across the country

• Seminar on E-waste Management was organised by attached organisations

• Solid and liquid waste management drive was organised in the Ministry

• Various Organisation/Offices/Societies under MeitY undertook anti-polythene drive

• Swachh Bharat banners were displayed on all Government websites

• Plogging event in and around the campus was organised by DoS/ISRO, participated by officers and Staff

• ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu organised a special talk on “Plastic Waste Management”

• Housing colony residents at Indranagar, Bangalore organised Plastic Waste management campaign to curb use of Plastic

• Swachhata rallies were organised in rural areas to spread awareness on plastic waste management and necessity to avoid/ reuse the same

• Students at Kvnal, Bangalore organised street play to spread Swachhata messages

• Shramdaan event organised to remove plastic/polythene waste to make the surrounding clean

• National Sugar Institute, Kanpur organised essay and drawing competition based on Plastic Pollution

• Swachhata awareness banners and stickers were placed at prominent places

• Cleanliness drive was organised in the Institute as well as in the Residential complexes

• Plogging activities organised at BARC Colony Anushaktinagar participated by Secretary DAE and officers of the Department

• Swachhata competitions were organised at various offices to disseminate swachhata awareness
