Ministry of Textiles
(1st - 15th March)
- Organised workshop on Health and Hygiene and its importance
- Children and officers participated in cleaning of schools and various Regional Offices respectively to spread the message of swachhata / cleanliness
- Swachhata awareness disseminated through Wall painting, distribution of hygiene kits, lecture session and tree plantation

Ministry of Women and Child Development
(1st - 15th March)
- Senior Officers inspected the cleanliness level at different Anganwadi Centres, Child Care Institutes (CCI) and suggested to improve the hygiene level
- Demonstration of hand washing was done at the Anganwadi Centers to make the children aware about the good practice of personal hygiene
- A rally was organized under ICDS urban project from ICDS office to disseminate Swachhata messages among the children and community people
- Mothers meetings and Nari Ki Choupal were called for dissemination of information on ‘WASH’ and cleanliness of infants and toddlers and other aspects of personal hygiene.

Ministry of Steel
(16th - 31st March)
- School children took part in Swachhata rallies and cleaning activities and learnt about the importance of personal hygiene
- Hygiene kits were distributed to the children of Govt. Schools & Anganawadi
- Awareness program was conducted for contract labourers on personal hygiene
- Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited organized Nukkad Natak on Road Safety & Swachhata Awareness

Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation
(16th - 31st March)
More than 20 organisation of the Ministry took part actively in Swachhata Pakhwada-Major activities are
- Cleaning of water bodies (river/lakes)
- Shramdaan activities-separated Plastic waste, Recyclable waste & Organic waste
- Mass Awareness Program with school children along with Swachhata Sandesh rally across the country
- Special cleanliness drive at Ganga Ghat at Varanasi followed by drawing and poster making competition among school children
- Celebration of World Water Day at all offices and schools on conservation of Water
