Ministry of Labour & Employment

(1^st - 15^th May)

• Ministry initiated “Anti-Polythene Drive” within the office campus and declared it as No-Polythene Zone
• Ministry staff participated in cleanliness drive and took pledge to keep their surroundings clean
• Cleanliness inspection was done by senior officers and through CCTV

Ministry of Science and Technology

(D/o Biotechnology & D/o Science and Technology)

(1^st - 15^th May)

• D/o Science & Technology (DST) constructed a compost pit inside the building and it was inaugurated on the culmination day
• Officers and staffs cleaned roads upto 100 m outside the entrance gate of office building
• DST organized Swachhata competition among its officials and best three were given award

Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions

(D/o Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, D/o Pension & Pensioners' Welfare & D/o Personnel and Training)

(16^th - 31^th May)

• Voluntary cleaning activities in and around office premises and promoted eco-friendly environment
• Secretary (AR&PG) address all officers/officials of the Department for the observance of Swachhata Pakhwada
• D/o Personnel and Training organized a Workshop on Menstrual Hygiene Management
• Cleanliness drive was organized at old JNU Campus and Plantation drive

Ministry of Power

(16^th - 31^th May)

• Installation of Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine and Incinerator at Rajkiye Ambedkar Girls High School, Gai Ghat Patna
• One-day workshop was organized for the officers on segregation of dry and wet waste
• School awareness program by all PSUs across the country and distribution of Two Color Dustbin and hygiene kits
• Damodar Valley Corporation organized a talk on “Maan Ki Swachhata” and a workshop organised for the worker of POWERGRID at Nagpur & Aurangabad on Swachhata
• A mass rally on Public Health, Sanitation & Hygiene was organised at Pine Brook School, Umbang, Ri Bhoi district, Meghalaya
