Hon’ble Ministers reviewed Gobardhan progress with 12 focus States-
On 4th of August 2021 Hon’ble Minister for Jal Shakti Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat chaired a meeting to review the implementation of Gobardhan programme with 12 States. Hon’ble Minister of State Shri Prahlad Singh Patel stated that Gobardhan aims to ensure cleanliness at the Rural areas.
Hon’ble Minister for Jal Shakti Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat advised States to speed up the implementation of the Gobardhan programme and develop few successful business models by monetizing the gas and slurry component of Biogas Plants.
Swachhata Pakhwada Highlights
Launched in April 2016, this is an initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Swachhata Pakhwada is inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi's vision to engage all Union Ministries and Departments in Swachhata-related activities, thereby making Swachhata "everyone's business".

  • Awareness programme to discourage use of plastics especially single use plastics in office premises through audio visual messages

  • Cycle rallies to disseminate Swachhata awareness message
  • Jute bags were distributed to discard the use of single use plastic
  • Various youth groups took part in Nukad Nataks to spread Swachhata messages

  • Different Swachhata awareness programmes were organised at various Eklavya Model Residential Schools
  • Students from various Eklavya Model Residential Schools took part in the Swachhata shramdaan events
